A short 30-minute train or car ride will take you to either city centre where you will find a plethora of art and culture including the open-air opera at the historic arena in Verona, or Mantua’s famous Thursday morning market nestled amidst the city’s stunning architecture. Mantua is a hidden Italian gem and has recently been declared a UNESCO world heritage site for its architectural splendour. Discover some of Northern Italy’s less known gems like the spectacular villages surrounding Garda Lake all within a short car or train ride (i.e., less than an hour). Also, Nogara is in an ideal central location within Northern Italy, 2 hours east of Florence and Milan and less than 2 hours west of Venice. Paula is an extraordinary chef with a flair for infusing traditional Veronese recipes with touch of creativity. She is passionate about regional specialties and the abundant seasonal local ingredients.
