The Osteria da Ugo serves dishes carefully prepared following the traditional recipes of the Veneto region. The menu varies periodically according to the availability of seasonal products and to the chefs’
creativity. All raw materials are fresh, we do not use any frozen or deep-frozen products.
All courses, as well as pasta, cakes and ice creams are prepared in our kitchen, with the care and expertise of committed staff.
The Osteria da Ugo is located in the heart of Verona about 200m away from Juliet’s House, though in a quiet position and not on the usual touristic path.
The restaurant, fully air-conditioned, has three rooms for approximately the same capacity: two joined rooms at street level and the evocative tavern “Romeo and Juliet”. The interior decoration is very warm and cosy and is therefore perfectly suited both for groups of different sizes and couples looking for more intimacy.
The menu of the restaurant is typical from the Veneto region, supported by a wide selection of wines mainly produced in the local area.
The kitchen staff is young, though experienced and passionate and consists of a chef, a sous chef, two chef de rang, one commis, one pastry chef and one kitchen assistant. The restaurant also employs three permanent waiters, one of which is a wine steward, supported by other regular waiters who take turns during crowded nights.
