The Restaurant 'Capitel' was born from Rinaldo and Maria Canteri’s love for cooking. Since 1967, it has been offering its clients, in a simple and friendly environment, the local dishes of the Veronese tradition. In the years the Restaurant, located between Villafranca and Verona, has combined its own experience with love for the “cooking of festivities” of the old days, obtaining a great success, which has remarkably increased during the years. The menu offers as first course a noddle soup with chicken livers, bigoli (kind of pasta) or fettuccine with meat sauce, tortellini with a melted butter and salvia sauce and different risottos. Rinaldo’s ability in cutting the excellent meat makes the difference, together with a serving trolley plenty of fresh season vegetables seasoned with the famous sauces: the veronese "pearà", the green sauce and the horseradish sauce (radish). His son Gianluca, who is passionately fond of being sommelier, is in charge of the wine list, continuously searching for some quality products. He has opened, below the restaurant the wine bar 'il covo di Bacco' where on demand you can taste some of the most famous local and national bottles of wine together with some well-known champagne.
Some very excellent products, at a fair price, have made Capitel one of the most well-known and famous restaurant in Verona.
