This is the slogan we chose for the historic restaurant "Gran Can" in Pedemonte of Valpolicella, land of great red wines very close to Verona, the city of Juliet, Arena and the fair of Verona.
The large garden, the beautiful newly renovated lobby and restaurant: the menu km "0" up as much as possible from fresh seasonal produce from the surrounding area, often organic, a modern and welcoming environment, the involvement of some disadvantaged business together with good value for money, are the features that make it unique and pleasing our proposal.
The kitchen is connected to the territory and tradition but also broadens the proposed regional dishes with innovative touches, accompanied by a winery entirely dedicated to the wines of Valpolicella DOC (Valpolicella, Valpolicella Superiore, Valpolicella Superiore Ripasso, Amarone and Recioto), supplemented by some IGT high quality and representative of other DOC Verona.
Extra virgin Olove oil comes from our hills and cheese, mushrooms, truffles are from the Regional Natural Park of Monti Lessini.
The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner to offer dishes that you like more from our à la carte, like Amarone risotto, homemade ravioli stuffed with rabbit, quail to the noodles, the breast of guinea fowl stuffed with prunes and bacon Lessinia, but the Tar Tar Beef the Italian Cheeses DOP Lessinia, mushrooms and black truffle Scorzone or, to the delight of the throat, the renowned desserts prepared by our chefs and many other tasty dishes.
Great success also collect the dough, cakes, bread, homemade bread sticks with organic flour, worked with passion by people uncomfortable with the guests of our facilities under an agreement with local health services.
